Driver
Turnover. How many times a day are these words mentioned and
discussed at trucking companies all over the country?
| How often at trucking companies are hands thrown
up in the air in a “there is nothing that can be done”
gesture? At The Recruiting Resource Center, we have decided to
at least do something. For
example, several different full page ads, such as our first
one pictured here, are being created in an attempt to remind
drivers that job-hopping is as harmful to them and their
families as anyone else. Perhaps even more so. We are also
going to be giving our booklet, “The Real Casualties in the
Driver Turnover War”, free of charge to any driver who
requests one. We are also planning to make these booklets
available at truck shows, truck stops, and driving schools
throughout the country. |

What
can you do to help? Well, to begin with, if you are currently
purchasing advertising in any of the recruiting magazines,
place a call to the Editor and ask that their publication run
one of our ads. And, if you are currently recruiting at
driving schools around the country, you may order our booklets
- at cost - and have your company name listed as the
sponsoring company. This will help show drivers how much your
company cares about their welfare. The Recruiting Resource
Center will ship these booklets to the schools you request for
distribution. You may also consider keeping a quantity of them
on-hand, so that dispatchers can pass them on to drivers who
are thinking about quitting.
